Senators Scott and Goldwater, with House Minority Leader John Rhodes went to the White House...

..to talk to the President. They told him that if he did not resign, he was going to be impeached and convicted. The President chose to resign.

That never would have happened without the reporting of Woodward and Bernstein, who worked for the Washington Post.

Today's Washington Post is the Bezos Billionaire Bullshit Bulletin. That reporting wouldn't have happened with the BBBB.

The rest of corporate media (I call them CorpoPravda or Plutocracy Pravda) have gone downhill quite a bit since then too.
