Moved away from when we used to see Ospreys. Reminded me of that place…good memories.

And now our dear EllenG is soaring with her beloved Osprey.

A connection to southern Maryland. I enjoyed her legal perspective when she offered it, she knew how DC works and I appreciated that.

back in the day! She even spent some time in Missoula while she completed her work for MRL. We visited a few times about that.

So you actually met in person! What a cool thing!

I had no idea she had worked on the RR issue. Nice to know. And I understand your missing her.

We visited via DU dm's. When she found out where I was from, she reached out about her time spent here. From what I understand, she had a fine legal mind.

I have only met a few DUers in person, half of them when I was having trouble in Illinois last summer. I'm not sure when but I am certain that I'll be making trips out west in time. Once I am sure I can travel safely again. I am glad I made my trip out here when I did, I had a feeling it wouldn't be safe if I had waited.

elleng photos. I always recommended them regardless of their quality. In hindsight, I felt I knew something was off. The tilt of her pictures. The need to document and share every single sunset and morning scene, and the boats on the bay. To our consciousness and connections. (Your post also struck me as I also had someone pop into my consciousness with such clarity recently, and I have not seen this person in 50 years, and I hope that changes).

Her bird photos. Her letting people know what classic movie was playing. Her feisty and discerning comments.

Oh! And she posted recipes from the NYT. She's the reason I joined the NYT cooking group.

Her recipes sharing! I read those too.

We met up for dinners a few times. She was a special lady.

have been reminded of her, thinking about her, in the last day or so. Me too. It will be two months tomorrow that I learned of her passing. May her memory be a blessing.
