Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has accepted an invitation to join U.S. President Donald Trumps Board of Peace on the future of Gaza, a senior government official said Saturday.
The Globe and Mail is not naming the source because they were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.
Mr. Carney, who just wrapped up a four-day visit to Beijing, is headed for Qatar Saturday, and later will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The names announced by the White House Friday included U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Mr. Trumps special Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, former British prime minister Tony Blair and the U.S. Presidents son-in-law Jared Kushner.
