He thinks he is creating another BLM situation, and he may use it as an excuse to attempt to cancel the 26 elections. That is why he is not trying to control the actions of the ICE agents, overreacting to and abusing protesters. This has already gotten one innocent person killed. Through ICE, the administration is trying to deport any undocumented residents they can get their hands on. They are breaking up families, denying people their rights and sending people to God knows where. The American people don't want this.

(11,011 posts)There ARE people who want EXACTLY this...
The racism, the cruelty, the victimizing minorities and non-repressive lifestyles, the repression of people that "don't look like they belong here".
There are STILL millions in the south (and across the rest of the country) who hear "The South will rise again..." as children, who LOVE seeing authorities re-enact the days of chasing down runaway slaves or kidnapping free people and hauling them into bondage without judicial warrant, without legal cause and without moral standing.
These people do NOT see "Twelve Years a Slave" as a traumatizing look at the cruelty of slavery and slave holders... they see it as a goddamn documentary for quality southern living and a road map for dealing with dissenting opinions.
The "Red States" are nearly exclusively "Confederate" and / or slave states. If they are neither it is only because they are sparsely populated masses of over-represented land and wealthy concerns who have bought said land for its influence and their own desires.
I will celebrate like its 1999 again the second I learn of Trump's final gasp after a massive stroke or heart attack kills that son of a bitch.
For anyone that has EVER said "never again"? WAKE THE FUCK UP - its "again" right now.
