Anonymity often makes people do and say worse things by reducing accountability and social inhibition, creating a detachment from real-world consequences, allowing for the expression of darker impulses and often making them act more aggressively..

I'm not being funny. I've had military doctors prescribe pain pills to get me through the day and sleeping pills to help me forget my day.
And when I failed to accept the prescription, I was told how safe it was because doctors took them. He was taking them to cope with rotating in and out of war zones.

It seems logical, when you think about it.
I'm reading that the drugs helped them fight initially but then there was addiction, side effects, paranoia, depression, and death.
