Denmark and Greenland left a meeting with Vance and Rubio with no agreement.

Denmark, Greenland and the United States have a “fundamental disagreement” over the future of the territory in the North Atlantic, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, the Danish foreign minister, said on Wednesday after a White House meeting with top Trump administration officials.

The meeting in Washington — hours after President Trump said the United States “needs Greenland” — was the first among the three governments to discuss Mr. Trump’s desire to buy or take the semiautonomous Danish territory.

Mr. Rasmussen and Vivian Motzfeldt, the Greenland foreign minister, met with Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Afterward, Mr. Rasmussen called the discussion “frank” and “constructive” even as he underscored that Denmark has no interest in changing the status quo.

“Our perspectives continue to differ,” he said. “The president has made his view clear. And we have a different position.”

Greenland is not up for sale.

There is nothing to negotiate.

An unequivocal, "No, you're not buying Greenland or taking over Greenland" is the only logical answer here.

Vance and Rubio could give a fuck about Greenland. They're just carrying out Hair Furor's orders.

If the PMs sought to understand the logic of Trump's "need" for Greenland, they weren't going to get it. There is no logic.

Rubio and J Divan Vance did their job and the media was complicit in this charade.

This was all done to feed Trump's ego and distract from his myriad failures. Not to mention the Epstein files.

They suddenly show up at your successful business one day, announce they want to "acquire" it, whether you want to sell or not, then let you know they'll take it by force if you refuse their offer.

Of what happened.

The tell will be how Europe reacts over the next 72 hours. Because I promise you they will be talking to their EU counterparts about this meeting.
If you see more military mobilization from EU countries within the next 48 to 72 hours, you will know exactly how that meeting really went.

I mean seriously. It's like having to meet a mugger who is trying to figure out a good time to mug you.

trump wants to steal Greenland - Greenland and Denmark refuse. I don't see any possibility of common ground.
