From the pages of history: 'a man was lynched yesterday' - what's our current equivalent with ice?

"A man was lynched yesterday" flag flew at NAACP in NYC every time this tragedy occurred for many years.

From the NAACP link below, "A lynching is the public killing of an individual who has not received any due process. These executions were often carried out by lawless mobs, though police officers did participate, under the pretext of justice."

What's a modern day flag equivalent with a similar type organization that can be done to help bring to light tragedies like the recent ice murders?

This type of publicity and press helped build the momentum to fight the awful murders and injustices back then... it can work today too.
