If you had to describe how Donald Trumps second term is going in just one word, what would that one word be?

(17,943 posts)website/publication. I scan a lot of comment sections and this is what you see. This is what were up against.
Even the latest shooting I saw a comment pleased with the outcome. Even though we see Renee was leaving the roadway and the so-called threat was over, just her car supposedly blocking the ICE vehicles means it was okay to shoot her in the face.
They are fed their talking points and they eat them up.

(2,234 posts)except to prop up the orange one. But, the responses are predictable. It's a "focus" group of 11 pro-trump republicans. Cult members until the end.
Shaking my head as I type that. There is nothing remotely newsworthy about "cult members support leader no matter what."

(5,623 posts)almost without exception.. DUMB.
Not "dumb" as in a common playground insult, but genuinely intellectually impaired people, and shockingly gullible. They are generally very illiterate when it comes to history, geography, and culture: "Greenland?..What's that?" "NATO?..What's that?" "The 1964 Civil Rights Act?..What's that?" "But they really were eating the cats & dogs!..My hairdresser's roommate's ex-boyfriend's co-worker's stepsister was there and saw it happening!"
I've given up trying to communicate with them - it's pointless. I have several cousins who are grateful that Trump is President, because he made it safe to say "Merry Christmas" again.
The educational system isn't responsible for this -- this is generational stupidity. There's almost no way to fix it.

Until the bad stuff really hits them, they dont give a fuck.
My brother is one now, and if things do not directly affect him and are ok in his backyard, no matter what damage is being done, he couldnt care less.
But hes a Christian!! 🤪😵💫😉
