every cadet who couldn’t make it through the police academy, every security officer (wannabe cop) who couldn’t make it on a police force because they failed the psychological screening, former members of far-right militia groups and white Nationalists, every military veteran suffering from PTSD (and yes, I’m a VET but was never in combat) and handed them a gun and badge and said Go Get Em’ Boys.
