trump and vance stay in power until January 2027 when the Democrats have taken control of the house.... trump and vance somehow are no longer in power (I don't know how, but it happens) Hakeem Jeffries becomes President until 2029, he starts to calm things down.... we then have a super-duper candidate that can't be beat, elected in 2028... sworn into office January 2029 and the clean-up begins... a girl can dream!!
also... I think for now, we have to create grief groups for all of us who are struggling.... my daughter called last night and talked about her great sadness because of all that is happening... she needed to talk through it... we really need each other right now, for support and strategy
all of you, please be good to yourself and those around you

My best case scenario:
Dems take back house and senate, and embark on an impeach-a-palooza, with televised investigations and hearings on Trumps corruption, war making, violations of oath of office, misuse of funds, destruction of the East Wing, etc. (remember, there doesnt have to be a violation of a criminal statute to impeach). Every 90 days, new articles of impeachment would be introduced and prosecuted .
But wait, theres more!
Starting January 3, 2027, even before the Trump impeachments begin, the house starts impeaching cabinet members (my guess is there will be a wave resignations following Novembers Blue Tsunami). One cabinet impeachment per month until theyve all had their corruption and incompetence exposed on television for all to see.
Of course, during this time, Dems will be ramming through legislation to reinstate the ACA subsidies, codify Roe, raise the minimum wage, and other popular policies supported by the majority. Whether those bills get stalled by the filibuster in the senate, or vetoed by Trump, it will all be ammunition for the 2028 campaigns.
Hey, a fella can dream, cant he?
