This is the headline from an article from "Al Jazeera" dated 01/12/26 with a byline from Zaheena Rasheed and News Agencies.
The article notes this quote from Crumb The 1st:
"Were looking at it very seriously. The military is looking at it, and were looking at some very strong options. Well make a determination, he told reporters on board Air Force One late on Sunday."
So that makes at least 5 sovereign nations and fellow UN members that he has expressed the right to unilaterally attack and dictate their politics and resources. He has said Denmark/Greenland, Cuba, Colombia, Mexico and Iran are all under consideration for US military attack. He has also offhandedly made aggressive remarks about Sudan and Yemen.
Meanwhile the JCOS shoots their mouth off about how it would be illegal to attack Greenland but they seem to have different rules for the sovereignty of other countries so much so that causing a mass death event in Venezuela was a cause for backslapping all around.
The article notes:
"Trump, who has previously said that US annexation of Greenland is necessary for Washingtons self-defence, said Russia and China will take Greenland if the US does not.
Im not letting that happen, he told reporters. I would love to make a deal with them. Its easier, but one way or another were going to have Greenland.
Every attack would be illegal under international law and the UN Charter.

(59,761 posts)To their credit, the U.S. Military has been doing its job, and just doing what it is commanded to do. It is not the job or the function of our armed forces to independently "consider" making unprovoked attacks on other countries on its own. I only hope that IF it is commanded to make an unprovoked attack on Iran, that it refuses, maintaining that such an order can only have been issued by someone not in full possession of his senses.

(59,761 posts)It's easy to program a missile and press the send button. It's something else entirely to order an invasion force of thousands of soldiers on the ground into a country with a functioning military just waiting for a chance to gun down some infidels (i.e. us) before being received into the arms of Allah.
