I'd bet money they will cut Jonathan Ross loose and throw him to the wolves.

Think about it. They don't give a single crap about one of their foot soldiers and he caused a lot of trouble for them. They can't very well just return him to service and why would they? He's a kook and a loose cannon and will likely do it again.

If he goes back on the streets the focus will continue on NOEM and ICE in general. If they fire him and hand off the investigation to locals, they can claim he was just "a bad apple" and the rest of the men are good patriots. They do that in police forces all the time.

People don't realize yet that Jonathan Ross is easily expendable. He can be sacrificed to divert attention. I'm surprised they haven't thought of it yet.
