I just searched on
Federal judges in California

To come up with this list

I've seen lots of posts saying that there are differences, but I couldn't find one that explained why.

Therefore: an explanation of the different kinds of warrants issued by different "agencies".

The OP is a method to find out if the warrant is signed by a valid court of law, or simply an administrative warrant.
