This is from yesterday and it is an

example of using your ability to speak out. This show does a good job along the months and years in talking about media in addition to sports. Usually the sports shows try to stay clear of explicit politics. But now is different as Mike Ryan says here. Dan LeBatard has some takes from time to time that I disagree with but I always appreciate anybody with a show who puts things out there and doesn't hold back. Dan is old school "sports radio" to a large degree and he tries to ask pertinent questions and elicits responses by making people think.

He reminds me of the days of Armand "Papa Joe" Chevalier and others who didn't just give "hot takes" or strut like the screamer on ESPN and act like only they know anything. People who drive all night long for a living know what it means to have and enjoy good radio programs whether it's sports, fantasy like Art Bell, politics/society with Mike Malloy or life/music/art/literature/nostalgia with Mike Feder. There are many more to be sure and it was good to hear this clip. Yes sports, like all walks of life, should make a statement about what is going on.
