Over 100 Companies, Including Nike & Amazon Submit Layoff Plans

AI is shredding our workforce, companies just won't need as many workers and the Fed can't fix that by lowering interest rates.

As a matter of fact when the Fed continues to push interest rates near zero it is going to weaken the dollar which means that people can't buy as much of those Chinese goods at Walmart. It also means that inflation is going to rise. What it doesn't necessarily mean is that mortgage rates are going to go down, they may, in fact, go up seeing as lenders want to guarantee a return on their loans.

I am not an economist, only had Econ 101, but it seems to me we are headed for a K-shaped economy for many years to come. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer is Krasnov's plan. Krasnov's Big Oil friends have kept the lid on gasoline prices, just think where inflation would be if gasoline jumps up.

I can see the consolidation up front and personal. My daughter is the CFO of a company that was just taken over by a larger company, she just finished the negotiations, it looks like a done deal. Even my daughter will have issues finding a new job, our job market is shrinking.

Oh but I see that unemployment dropped, yeah OK.

Keep in mind that we ALWAYS have a recession when a Republican is President. Always. So it's just a matter of time, and is clearly starting even as I type.
