What happened to all the pro-refugee/immigrant groups?

So since the Southern border is closed and apparently we're not taking any refugees from Latin America now, where are all the complaints from the refugee aid groups who are supposed to stand up for refugee/immigrant rights?

These are the people complained so bitterly about Biden not taking in enough refugees and consistently railed at Dems for not doing enough. They gave Obama a terrible time and rarely spoke out loudly against Republicans.

Now we don't hear a peep from them.

Have they just given up?

Or were these groups funded by or bought off as some sort of sleazy political ploy by the right?

The groups you're referring to weren't unhappy the Administration wasn't taking in enough immigrants. They "complained so bitterly" about the treatment those immigrants were receiving. Remember AOC and kids in cages, etc

I do know that no one in their right mind would encourage anyone from another country to come to this one right now.
Especially anyone who does not look Caucasian.
And that goes for tourists, business, sports competitions, musical toyrs etc., not just immigrants.
