(100 posts)When Obama was president and Democrats had a trifecta we were one vote away from universal healthcare. Yes, I'm serious. If we had even one more Democratic senator I truly believe we'd have it right now.
Give Democrats a powerful mandate by flipping every single red seat blue and I guarantee you we'll have much better healthcare. We can do it!
Look at all Biden was able to do with a slim majority and not even having congress for his full term: https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/fact-sheet-the-biden-harris-administration-record
Let's all keep fighting together everyday and we will get healthcare.
One thing everyone should be doing now is boycotting companies that significantly support Trump and talking to as many people as you can and get your message across to support healthcare and make Trump and Republicans the most unpopular in American history.

(100 posts)You're right! The only reason people like Libermann and Manchin get so much attention is because we don't have enough votes in congress so they are the deciding vote. Flip another seat and all of a sudden whoever the next Manchin is, (maybe Fetterman) is irrelevant.
More Democrats in office means a shifted Overton window and a stronger mandate for change. That's why all the people who sit out the election because they think they are not getting enough are wrong.
