I think Walz really hit the "pro-America" card with his football coaching and car repairing. He was the most pugilistic politico in the 2024 election (besides Trump).


I do not have a favorite for 2028, and it is a long long long time away.

Is some kind of strength, or just being a bad ass. Nice law abiding men and women will be fine in blue states but in red and purple ones not so much.

Use to be if you were proven a bad person you dropped out, now they just get louder and more obnoxious.

The voters that have an automatic aversion to someone from California almost assuredly won't be voting for any Democrat to begin with.

I prefer Mark Kelley with Pete as his running mate.

And Illinois .... Doesn't have anywhere NEAR the reputation - or drag ....

Going to insist (having nothing personal against the man at all, but .. ) - Newsom represents a big uphill push - that I don't think other candidates necessarily carry.

I think we are speaking of completely different demographics here. And, having said that, I really don't think Billy Bob soybean farmer - has a great deal of potential as a potential democratic vote. (certainly never has been in the past)

. . . I don't think the reason Harris/Walz lost was because they were too "folksy." I think the primary reason came down to a combination of racism/sexism. And in any case, I don't think the choice of running mate has ever been the deciding factor in a presidential election.
