Two, it is a cover up for all the corrupt issues that he knows is damaging to him. He is afraid of the outcome of his own criminal investigation and actions.

Finally, he knows his time is running out. He afraid of what his legacy might look like?

Therefore, his attempt to curb millions of dollars from his wealthy friends is how he is portraying himself as a king, dictator or authoritarian.

He is not finished either! He will continue to force people into giving him more power and more money to satisfy his ego.

My biggest fear is that he goes after the governors of states who did don’t support or who didn’t vote for him?

His manipulation of power is his crutch and he won’t end until he’s on top.
