If the people of Venezuela WANT US oil companies to develop their oil fields or to buy the oil that results, that should be up to the people of Venezuela. Not some puppet government installed at the point of a gun ( or bomb ).

We really need to move beyond oil anyway. What the fuck is wrong with people.

This is one of those patently obvious points that clearly illustrate that American Democracy is dead, but 1/3 of the country will defend it with their lives and 1/3 of the country will go on about "both sides."
