"Israel attacking Lebanon every 4 hours on average: Report"

This is the headline from an article from Lebanese news site "Ya Libnan" dated 12/20/25 and sources from several reports:

"ACLED, the independent conflict monitoring organization, recorded 1,846 Israeli attacks on Lebanon since the beginning of the ceasefire with Hezbollah."

They report UNIFIL as saying there are over 10,000 "violations" which would not necessarily all be "attacks":

"That figure includes more than 2,500 ground activities by the Israel Defense Forces and more than 7,800 violations of Lebanese airspace."

According to UNIFIL they have found more than 360 weapons caches south of the Litani River however they note:

"But Kandice Ardiel, UNIFIL’s deputy spokesperson, said: “None of these weapon caches were guarded. They had no obvious signs of recent use and were presumably abandoned. Many were even destroyed already, or half-destroyed.”

These still count as "violations" in reporting. The disarmament plan by the Lebanese Army and the Lebanese leadership for the area south of the Litani River is nearly complete according to recent reporting. One thing of note about Netanyahu's recent confab with Crumb the 1st is that it is felt that he is pushing for US approval for escalation of strikes in Lebanon using the disarmament issue as a basis.

The first "Ya Libnan" report mentions that UNIFIL says at least 187 Lebanese civilians have been killed in the IDF attacks since the ceasefire began. It also mentions that the new border wall constructed by Israel was found by the UN to have 2 sections where it took Lebanese territory. So a ceasefire that isn't much of a ceasefire at all and it is noted in the article that the Lebanese people trying to come back to their villages are still fired upon and more than 64,000 still are displaced.
