Smol Paul has been hanging out under the Christmas tree for the last six weeks..........

I usually go for short walk to park which is only one block down--small town Christmas display. Tonight the lights were not turned on--but trees etc are still up.
Kinda sad. I went home and put the lights on my tree. Not ready to take it down.

2 of our 4 cats, the boys, love to curl up under the tree because it's warm there. I think they also get a bit of heat radiating down from the incandescent mini lights on the tree. They always look quite cozy when they are there.

It always takes me at least a week to get our tree decorated because I'm always tweaking the placement of the ornaments - Oops, can't have 2 green ones next to each other/ Oops - the cardinal is facing the wrong direction/ Oops - the cat it too close to the flute/ Oops, there's a bare space there. Etc, etc, etc.

Therefore, I leave it up most of January so I can enjoy it for several weeks.
