Key question by my lights is whether these newsrooms knew Congress wasnât being notified of the attack

(Semafor) - The New York Times and Washington Post learned of a secret US raid on Venezuela soon before it was scheduled to begin Friday night but held off publishing what they knew to avoid endangering US troops ..

End snip.
Haul their asses in to testify. If they knew Congress was not being notified, they are complicit.

(2,029 posts)They had no choice but to hold the news. They realized Trump was going to do what Trump was going to do. If they had leaked the story, like it or not, the warning they would have given Venezuela would put American members of the military in danger. No credible editor would let a story endanger military or any other lives.
How are they being complicit in Trump's intentional snub of Congress? They were being responsible in a very irresponsible situation.
Instead of calling newsmen to testify to Congress, how about parking Pete in the witness chair and grill him? Maybe the Senate could call former Senator Rubio in to ask him why Congress wasn't notified. Notified! How about a declaration of war?
BTW Trump's delusions of grandeur are exploding exponentially. He's insane.
