(112,824 posts)(or outside government for that matter). But Trump has no intentions of restoring to the duly elected Edmundo González--who would undoubtedly not let him steal their oil or enable his delusions of grandeur as dictator of the Western Hemisphere.

(1,751 posts)But does that justify taking over a country and stealing its resources? If Venezuela wanted him out, there are other ways to do it that don't involve an armed invasion.
The R's will point to Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein as precedent for this, unfortunately, to justify it.
