So Trump found his own country to rule, this one complete with what was one of the U.S.'s largest supplies of oil

...Trump is now the dictator ruling over Venezuelans.

This isn't even Iraq with it's phony claims of WMDs and a threat to America, although even the Biden administration had called for the removal of Maduro, even placing a bounty on his head.

Understand that the main resistance in the country was against the Maduro regime. We're going to move into a period of approval for that action from many there, but will face an inevitable backlash against America and Trump for the eventual takeover of their country's government and their resources. All of this military aggression now wrapped up in a defense of the U.S. troops who are carrying out this anti-democratic regime change; assaults against people who aren't any threat to our national security, all behind the force of our own nation's military defenders.

The bottom line of all of this is that, unrestrained by Congress, Trump has a nation in which he can fully exercise his autocratic avarice behind our military forces like no other president in our history. The way he operates in Venezuela is precisely the way he ultimately intends to oppress the people of this country and bend us to his will and whim.

I'd guess that if Trump fully realizes the power he wields and is allowed to dominate an entire nation through the intimidation of our military forces, he'll try even harder to focus those autocratic military impulses against the country he already controls.

What the hell is going on? Trump has supposedly abducted President Maduro and his wife and brought them to the United States for trial, supposedly for drug trafficking and bringing drugs to the United States. It was just a few weeks ago when Trump pardoned one of the biggest drug traffickers in the world, Juan Orlando Hernández, the former President of Honduras, who had been convicted by the Biden Administration and was serving a sentence of 45 years in prison. What is this? Is this about regime change? Is this about oil? Or is this a power play to continue to send a message around the world that Trump is all-powerful and he is headed towards dictatorship in our country?

Trump calls into FOX before his 11AM address to the nation: “I watched it literally like watching a television show… the speed, the violence.”

He can live out his wildest dictatorial fantasies until the end of his days. We can work on restoring the damage done by him and Fox in the meantime. It's a win-win!
