So this handwritten letter is bothering me...

On the one hand, OF COURSE , I want it to be legit BUT it reads strangely, almost artificially, and if it comes back as a forgery as attested to by three or four independent handwriting analysts, then the powers that be will then say, “See, another HOAX that the left is attempting to perpetrate and you can’t therefore take ANY of these documents seriously. EpsteinEpsteinEpstein. like RussiaRussiaRussia.”

Which of course was NOT a “hoax”.

2. See, this is the problem. They seed these files with a few fakes, then prove they are fake,

and then the whole thing is discredited.

We need to be really seriously careful right now.

As you say, the letter might be fake, but I don't necessarily believe the FBI when they say it's fake either.

So what do we believe?

https://couriernewsroom.com/news/leaked-epstein-files-talking-points-instruct-republicans-how-to-point-blame-away-from-trump/

A leaked memo that circulated through Congress Tuesday details talking points Republicans are expected to use when talking about the Epstein Files as a way to protect President Donald Trump, conveying an image of a party resigned to the fact that those files will indeed be published on Friday and that their leader will be implicated in one of the most extensive international sex trafficking operations in recent history.

The memo, first published by Fox News, outlines how congressional Republicans should direct any discussion surrounding the contents of the Epstein Files away from Trump, and outlined a list of accusations to allege against journalists and Democratic lawmakers. In essence, the memo gives step-by-step instructions on how to utilize a psychological manipulation tactic known as DARVO (deny, attack, reverse victim and offender) in order to brush aside any alleged wrongdoing by the president, while villainizing his opposition and framing Trump as the victim.

Addendum to Memorandum on “Oversight Committee Democrats Push Anti-Trump Hoax Instead of
Pursuing Justice for Epstein Victims”

Throughout the Oversight Committee’s review of the federal government’s handling of the Epstein and
Maxwell criminal investigations, Democrats have demonstrated a sustained pattern of misconduct—
misrepresenting witness testimony, selectively leaking cherry-picked documents, and manipulating emails and
images—to fabricate yet another politically motivated hoax targeting President Trump. As a result, nothing
Democrats post or leak on this matter can be taken at face value.

Caution is warranted...

Projection. It's what they do over 100% of the time.

Every accusation is a confession.

and signatures of the sender?

And have to ask, who would mail a letter like that with such scrawled delivery address?

On CNN today she said it does not look like Epstein's handwriting or manner of writing.

10. And she'd know. Also the Forbes article details the elements that show it to be false. It's pretty convincing.

Now every truthful release gets extra skepticism.

Oh, how do you know it's not a fake? You're gonna get from the water cooler and the bar people. That will slow. The discussion that is already too slow.

Remember when they faked a military paper about george bush, screwing up in his duties. It looked just like the real letter except it was written on a modern typewriter. Since a typewriter of the era couldn't have written that letter. The message was no longer treated as valid and a good journalist.Lost his job. A double win for the right wing.

They faked it then and they can fake this now.
