(7,209 posts)The Vanity Fair piece was designed to make Vance the MAGA prince. There's an effort to equate Vance to Trump across MAGA social and broadcast media right now. One example is another live thread right now: Vance posted about white men being discriminated against at ork, and the hard-MAGA EEOC chair then posts a call for white men to report job discrimination, fronted by a "So right, JD Vance!" This is all coordinated.
The mainstream MAGA faction (buoyed by Thiel and Musk) certainly wants Vance for 2028.
But maybe sooner. It's pretty early to start him in for 2028 at this point. I think there are a bunch of signs that they will try to push Trump out before the midterms.
Wiles is obviously on the Vance bandwagon, and maybe Miller, too. I think Cheung is the holdout: he's no doubt behind the idiotic plaque business and the Kennedy Center desecration. He also probably coordinated the Dershowitz Third Term article.

Tucker trued to just laugh off Shapiro.
This seems like a battle over clicks to me. Now available due to Kirks death.
Kirks influence on young people was particularly evident, with thousands of high school and college attendees, some of whom posed for photos in front of a tent that resembled the one Kirk was speaking in front of when he was shot during The American Comeback Tour.
