Electricity went up

During the summer months I did notice my charges were a lot higher. Just received my electric bill for last month. I am on budget billing which is I pay the same each month regardless of how much electricity I use. Then it is trued up in May. If I have a balance then I pay that and if I paid more than I used I receive a credit. It was $140 per month which is the amount I have been paying for the last 3 years. My new monthly budget amount went up over 80% to $260.
