This dangerous place in time

that we find ourselves is like a never ending nightmare from Hell. We have someone in control of troops and weapons and he has found that he likes killing. The taste of blood to this sick sociopath makes him burn for more. You see the same evil sickness in Netanyahu. It was there in Hitler and Pol Pot. It fed the sickness in Stalin.

It is fairly clear now that the generals and admirals are not going to stand up to him. He feeds his sickness at home with violent arrests and mocks the idea of people suffering from hunger and sickness knowing all the while he created it in order to feed his sickness. After he got started on the immigrants he hungered for more and so he went after killing Iranians. Then he moved to depriving food and medical care.

Now he is on to murder and piracy in the Caribbean. His thirst for his blood/violence/cruelty fix grows stronger and stronger with each kill and no amount of killing satisfies him for long but it does drive him onward for more killing. Now it is Venezuelans turn to be the target to die and feed his sickness. The generals and admirals are not stopping him.

This is now our dangerous place in time. Who and what is next? The generals have made it clear they will obey using soldiers against citizens here at home. The admirals have made it clear they will engage in piracy, murder on the high seas and war crimes. They have made clear their decision to follow the sick sociopath and be tools used to do the killing to feed his sickness.

This is now our dangerous time. A man in control of our weapons and troops driving others to kill to feed a little feeling of satisfaction inside him but always he craves more. The generals and the admirals go along and are they thinking "Only so far but then no further" and not realizing that it will always be more and more until you have committed so many acts for him and in hindsight you can't believe how it escalated and carried you along to the point where the world wants to try you for war crimes. Is that what you envisioned for yourself at West Point and Annapolis?

What of honor? This is now our dangerous time when admirals and generals don't stand up for clear right and wrong and instead hide behind some obviously tortured reasoning in a legal memo saying that the murder and piracy is OK. What of honor? Have the generals and admirals begun to have a sickness of their own? When they put that uniform on in the morning and look in the mirror do they see what is really now inside that uniform? Is it honor to be engaging in killing people and piracy in order to feed a sick sociopath and his lust for blood and harm and his endless greed for money and the the possessions of others?

This is now our dangerous time and what was unthinkable a year ago has now come to pass in a short time with much more time to go. I had always believed that some generals or admirals would stand up and say no to things like this happening. A Marine I knew told me that I was naive about that. I didn't want to believe him. I do now.
