There can be no question that Trump says things, out loud and in public, that if said by a close friend or relative, would appear deranged to most of us.

I know people who support and agree with Trump, even if it contradicts everything they ever believed in, like government overreach, due process or worldwide pollution.

The Jim Jones Cult members or the Manson Family Cult members were the ones who were deranged, not those who opposed them.

Throughout history, dictator after dictator, and their supporters were reviled for their derangement, not the people who opposed them.
