ABC has a Rob Reiner special airing....tomorrow night (disgusting)

After Jeopardy, Celebrity Family Feud came on. We started watching it. Fun. Funny. Then I saw the ads.

Following the tragic news of the deaths of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, the one-hour special tells the story of the life of the beloved director, producer and actor and his wife, a photographer, producer and writer known for her work in documentary and political activism. it is likely to give them a large viewing audience. Which explains their confidence that a "special" that is empty is a great investment. I've heard there is a future in selling nothing, as I shall begin telling graduates.

Most famous people already have obituaries made by the news agencies, ready to be tweaked when needed. This special was probably already sitting around, ready to be tweaked with updated information.

It's pretty common. 90% of it will be about his childhood and then his career.

but bad news and blood buys viewers.... It has been that way for a long time.

News memorialization of the life of Rob Reiner
is a valid counterpoint to the murder of Charlie Kirk,
and many more of us on this side of the aisle
are more interested in it

and Reiner unequivocally stated that the killing of Charlie Kirk
was completely unacceptable, ESPECIALLY if it was for political reasons---

while TRUMP's statements about the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife
seemed to imply that he "had it coming" for political reasons!

If anybody has murder coming 'for political reasons',
I can think of a few more people at the TOP of THAT list
above Rob Reiner and his wife.

I won't name names here, because I don't need to do so.
