I don't believe that Trump was the author of the tweet about Rob Reiner

Last edited Mon Dec 15, 2025, 10:16 PM - Edit history (1)

OK, hear me out. Whoever wrote that text used appositive commas, and only someone who's literate — and I don't believe that Trump was ever that literate, even prior to his current dementia — would know to do that.

So who actually wrote it?

ETA: I must not have explained myself well. Of course those are his sentiments!

But if someone else is writing his tweets now, that could mean at least two things:

1. He's not well enough even to tweet any longer.

2. Someone else, someone who is very close to him, is writing his tweets. How much power does this person have? As Trump declines, is this person going to be the new Edith Wilson?

It's on his account and he has neither disowned it nor deleted it, let alone apologized for it.

even if he didn’t physically type it on his phone with his tiny fingers. He owns every word of it.

7. Do you deny it was his thoughts/sentiment/intent? Then who cares? I'm sure Stephen Miller and others feed

him bullshit to rile him up and then he spews to whoever cares to play stenographer.

But, again. What difference does it make. That is Trump through and through in those messages.

That wasn't the point I was making.

I've edited my post to make my point more clearly.

Ultimately it doesn't matter who wrote it. It went out under Trump's name so he clearly endorsed it. Also on Monday when speaking to reporters, Trump said Reiner “was a deranged person as far as Trump is concerned.” and “I was not a fan of Rob Reiner at all, in any way shape or form,” Trump said. “I thought he was very bad for our country.”

10. Of course they are his sentiments but that is not your point. Both of your points are important and do matter.

IF he's too sick to tweet "well" that matters. If someone else is tweeting for him claiming to be him, that matters as he becomes more demented. Who is running the show here?

It seems as if most other people missed my points.

And it's true. If he's not the one tweeting, who is running the show?

Every one of them must go. By them, I mean the principals and the subordinates, the puppets and their handlers. Their think tanks and
their employees. Their stooges and hangers on. What a grotesque assembly of malefactors.

It’s an angry, petty screed from an angry, petty man.

Of course he wrote it. Or at least dictated it.
