My request to Democrats and democrats...

Learn from the Nordic countries via history.com: "Many Nordic countries implement social democratic policies that blend capitalism with strong welfare systems and public services."

"Social Democrats" - yes.
"Democratic Socialists" - not a desirable label or structure.

Well regulated capitalism - yes.
Free markets / unregulated capitalism? This is a free-for-all for big money, corporations, and amoral profiteers. It is an open door to government corruption, inequality, and the downfall of democracy.

We currently have that – some of it implemented by Republican administrations and lawmakers.

The problem is that over the last 50 years Republicans have abandoned responsible governance and sound public policy for reckless, irresponsible conservative political dogma.

And now an equally reckless, irresponsible Supreme Court dominated by conservative ideologues has further undermined necessary, proper, Constitutional regulatory policy.

The fight is not to establish well-regulated capitalism, but to defend laws and policies already in place that promote responsible regulation.

You can harness its energy to maximize its power for a long time, or you can let it run unchecked and it will quickly have a meltdown.

Most folks don't know the difference, including Bernie and AOC, who almost certainly mean Social Democracy when they say Democratic Socialism.
