Dictators disappear people thats what they do.
The Supreme Court ordered Trump to work to bring Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia home to his family + three kids in a 9-0 unanimous decision.
Trumps defying that order and refusing to take responsibility for his mistake. Thats complete lawlessness.

Ive suspected it was only a matter of time before Trump openly defied SCOTUS.
His refusal unambiguously reveals what he wants: Unlimited, unchecked power to do whatever he wants to whomever he wants.
And trust me, this isnt the end, its just the beginning unless we stop him.

America follows the rule of law, not the whims of a dictator. The President cant just ignore the Supreme Court.
Return Mr. Abrego Garcia to Maryland.

Massive shoutout to @vanhollen.senate.gov for fighting to bring his constituent home, even if he has to fly to El Salvador himself.

I've been clear: if President Bukele doesn't want to meet here in D.C., then I intend to go to El Salvador this week to check on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's condition and discuss his release.
Kilmar was illegally ABDUCTED and deported by the Trump Admin. He must be brought home NOW.
If Bukele doesn't want to meet in D.C., I'll go to El Salvador to check on Kilmar Abrego Garcia

(12,561 posts)Pootie has his own El Salvador torture hotel, and has sent Americans there to disappear. Trump will start the window treatment soon. Most cost efficient way to disappear his enemies.
Every asshole in that meeting yesterday needs to be in prison and disappeared. Those are the ones making the calls. Trump just plays the game.
Bondie, Rubio, Natzeee Jew boy, Noem, MTGs LOVER pet, should all be gone. All are attacking our Nation in our face shave all their heads, Miller doesnt matter, but trump and bubble lips need reciprocal treatment.

It's never worked that way for autocrats. The Napoleon's, Kaisers, Tsars, and some Royal Houses would tend to disagree. That's what is visited upon us.

(1,607 posts)why, either SCOTUS cannot just come out with clarifying language regarding just what the immunity boundaries exist for a POTUS, or if they cannot come out and unilaterally do this, then perhaps via a petition to SCOTUS.
I am not saying they would definitely stop this fucking nightmare, but it would afford an opportunity to reset to reality, especially since they now realize just how their destructive ruling has turned out to be.
Those 6 justices, along with the likes of McConnell and Trump, will forever be held up as the face of this country's destruction. Plenty of others, I know, but these folks have to lead the parade.
With the knowledge that he would indeed be on the hook for the shit he is unleashing on this country, he may just back off. Accountability can stop a bully in his or her tracks.
