These people are fundamentally eugenicists. I've read references to Calhoun's Universe 25 experiment in support of their radical views that certain groups must be eradicated to prevent the eventual extinction of the human race. "Though wildly controversial when first made public, Calhoun's theory has raised concern over the years that the social breakdown could ultimately serve as a metaphor for the trajectory of the human race." These ideas are not new, and they haven't gone away.
