If you're wondering why you can't find info on 4/19 like you did for 4/5, this is why

April 5th Day of Action was round 1. Apparently round two is in the works. Spread the word.

So r/50501 is reporting the following

*Apparently news is getting posted on the 50501 Substack instead of this subreddit for some reason. Anyway, the day of protest has turned into a "day of action" as far as this org is involved. Basically, you'll have to look at your local/state 50501 organizations to see concrete info about the next protest.

It sounds like it's because organizing this was bigger than they first thought and the work was too much. So, what does this mean?

Well with the administration working constantly to undermine our judiciary, passing the SAVE act, tearing up the constitution and medicaid....

Essentially? Jack shit. Friends who weren't willing to go on the fifth are now coming with me to this one. I'm going. Don't miss out.

Spread those flyers far and wide, tell your friends and family, look into your local stuff, inform people of the situation. Mine emailed me about volunteering for 4/19, and that's in Bama, so you can definitely find one near you. Still unable to find anything? State capitol or your city hall.

4/19-a national day of protest

See you there.*

Check it out. I posted it in the DU Activist Headquarters Forum...

HANDS OFF is an ongoing protest and large urban turnouts as well as small local ones need to be consistent to be successful. Think of Occupy and The Women's March 2017 as a combination. That is the long and short plan. Be patient and keep marching!!!

There were 1,400 protests, 5.2 million people. Don't let this turn out keep you from being vigilant. Keep resisting!

Make sure the GOP senior citizens who voted for tRump TWICE stay angry...they only showed up on April 5th due to their Social Security and health care being threatened (they elected tRump TWICE and they are not our friends in the long run). They do not care about gun control, abortion access, or climate change enough to vote Dem! Do not rely on this group of disenfranchised HANDS OFF protesters for future turnouts.

We all need to stay angry. Seniors and Gen "Whatevers" and the younger citizens must look at the BIG picture and NOT focus on how these destructive GOP/tRump policies effects them personally or fits their own agenda.
