This claim will be litigated as to the ability of the US government to cease paying for the retention of a detainee and the terms under which a detainee must be released.

THERE'S MORE: In a separate filing, the govenrment says its arrangement with El Salvador to house deportees in the notorious CECOT prison is classified.

At worse, the judge will get to review this contract in camera
