This definitely sounds like they’re gonna make good faith efforts and do what they can to secure Mr Abrego Garcia’s return! (Not.)

This is part of what is so galling about the Court’s order-it’s been clear for awhile that the admin is obfuscating. Failing to recognize that, and penalize it, is bad.

As I *literally* said in my article this morning, the court wants Trump to *try* to get Abrego Garcia back. It doesn’t order him to actually go down there and return him.

And so now Trump can say they *tried* but couldn’t make it happen. And the court gives no penalty for failure.
