JFC. Trump now is threatening more tariffs and possibly sanctions against Mexico.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday threatened Mexico with sanctions and tariffs over what he said was Mexico's non-compliance with an 81-year-old water treaty.

"Mexico OWES Texas 1.3 million acre-feet of water under the 1944 Water Treaty, but Mexico is unfortunately violating their Treaty obligation," Trump posted on Truth Social.

Oh, and he also wants to launch drone strikes on cartels within Mexico's borders.

He is the one who cheats, lies, steals.
It is all projection.

Also someone is feeding him these talking points.
Someone is cranking him up.

It is projection as usual.

Your excellent analysis is spot on as always. I felt that it was you commenting even before I looked for the DU member user name.

And flood 1.5 million acres, and say 'Debts paid, thank you Mr Trump for reminding us to do so.'.

The Florida Everglades is about 1.5 million acres, and the average yearly rainfall is close to 5 feet. That's 7.5 million acres feet of water, just in one years rain.

This rain deficit has been over the past 80 years, from 1944 to present. If Mexico owes us a total of one fifth of one years rain, and if spread out over eighty years, the results would be (gasp) : one average day of rain in the Everglades every year.

I believe his ideas about showerheads, faucets, toilets, and dishwashers waste more water than that.
