General Charles Q. Brown Jr., a 4-star general who happens to be Black and outranks him. The trump/hegseth racists fired 'Gen. Brown.

Lt. Gen.Dan Caine, Ret., the new Joint Chief's Chairman, has to salute Gen. Brown.

and until it's confirmed, they had to pull a white Lt. Gen. out of retirement. What, they don't have any more active duty four-stars.
