The Escambia County Democratic Party worked hard for Gay Valimont. We knocked on thousands of doors, and indeed, Escambia County went blue. Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties would vote for Pol Pot if he ran as a Republican.

I did my canvassing knowing it was a long shot. But I cannot control the results, I can only control what actions I take, and I chose to fight. Shit on Florida all you want, and the state probably deserves some of it, but remember there are people fighting the good fight, even here.

Looks like a big swing away from the Republicans. If that swing were to be repeated across the country next year, Republicans will lose the House easily.

...and keep in mind, we're only a few weeks into the Trump/Musk administration. Their stupidity and cruelty hasn't really impacted daily life yet. Let the nation marinate in Trump's horrible stink for a year. Our efforts will gain even more traction.
