Seriously - could you remain on your feet for nearly 22 hours

And still remain this coherent? Cory is a great advertisement for the vegan diet.
He’s stealing Prime Time to boot

But, it would be damned hard, regardless.

11. Back when I had hair, we would do three or four all nighters in a row for both debate and later law review

I remember on deal where another attorney and I stayed up for 4 nights in a row to close a deal. We were in Salt Lake City and only the other out of town attorneys were doing the all nighters. We had a deadline on the deal and we closed a couple of hours before the deadline

I did get the support staff at our local counsel to get me diet coke with caffeine.

Up late studying with peer.

Class next morning at 8 am. More classes throughout the day. Grad school, after all. Then do assignments, head to library to work on papers, do necessary readings, etc.

Dorm activities as dorm rep that evening, then work from 11 pm until 7 am. Staff front entrance, handle emergencies, keep little dorm store open, guard the till.

Grad classes that morning at 8 am. Including test.

Yeah. Then again, I was in my mid-30s.

Have done this in my mid 50s as a high school science teacher and parent, actually--get carried away doing something and sort of realize that it's 4:30 am and the alarm clock's going to go off at 4:45 a.m.

You cope.

13. When I was in college there was a dance marathon

I never did it, but a friend of mine did. There was dancing around the clock, although they were allowed to sleep a little, eat, and drink. They were exhausted. But they were 20. At that age you can stay up all night more easily. A couple hanging on each other counts as dancing.

16. We did lots of partying

Music shows and even all night study sessions. Not one went for 24 hours and we sure could sit or lie down, eat and use a bathroom.
I could not do what he did - even back then.
