A malignant narcisist would view that as losing. He's only lost a few times---the 2020 election that he could not accept and tried an insurrection and misinformation campaign to save his face, and the vote to repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act that turned into a bitter personal vendetta against John McCain.

He always doubles down when he is called out for being wrong. He would watch America collapse rather than admit he was wrong. The economy could be in depression and the whole world turn against America, and he would still double down.

He believes he is right on all the issues. He's been talking about tariffs and other nations ripping us off since the eighties, and he thinks income taxes can be scrapped and replaced entirely by tarrifs. He is surrounded by yes-men. He believes he's the smartest guy in the room. He thinks anyone who disagrees is an idiot. He doesn't realize he is a moron. He believes his own hype, and in his mind, nobody is going to stop him from leaving a legacy of transforming America and being celebrated as the greatest president.

So, it's only going to get worse. There are no brakes or reverse gear. How bad will it be? What is the logical conclusion? And what would it take for it to end?
