The fascists are all the noise
that floats around our boredom.
We are the crimes they seek to kill.
Another day, another roundup
of brown skinned people,
whether they talk funny or not.
El Salvador has prisons a’plenty
if we send dollars with the kidnapped.
The torture probably doesn’t
even cost extra.
The fascists are all about Jesus
and fetuses
as they steal our future
and planes fall from the sky
and the war chiefs chat bomb strikes
over weak, online apps.
I hope you’re paying attention, Canada
because someone who can read
better explain this
to the morons in red white and blue.
There will be midnight knocks
at many civil doors
and every good citizen’s number
will come up someday.
