It seems to me that 47 and his administration anticipate going to war SOON. That was revealed in the "signal chat".

It is also quite clear that they intend to do war at the drop of a hat for their own purposes. As in to threaten other nations that Trump might strike without warning, or cause, because that is how Mobsters enforce their rule by fear.

They did not discuss this proposed attack with any of the other nations who use the Suez canal or pass through the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

They have obviously been planning to do this for a while, yet none of the particular members of Congress or the Senate who are by law supposed to be kept informed about such actions have been read in.

Now why do you suppose they used an unofficial platform to communicate about such high level decision making? Could it be incompetence? Could it be rooted in the desire to avoid official record keeping and thus erase all evidence of their perfidy?

would during his previous administration. The Neo-Christian Nationalists seem to want one. We know that Speaker Johnson will do ANYTHING 47 demands of him.

This ain't hype. A shooting war would grant Him and Them the means to perpetrate anything they want to. It would also provide a pretext for suspending Constitutional protections and any elections.

such. Rather they will attack sites and targets where collateral damage threatens multiple other nation's interests. "Oops", they will say.

one obvious purpose is the non-retention of records. This was outlined by the Project 2025 crowd as a thing which they ought to teach each other about doing.

And given the blatant corruption, self-interest, and ties with foreign powers that many in TCF's admin have, another purpose would be to enable some foreign intelligence service(s) to be privy to the comms.

(Well, they could try, but it's just easier for them this way. Besides, it gives Trump something to watch on TV while Musk continues to skullfuck the Social Security Administration to death.)
