She goes to the bank to try to work out a payment plan or something. The guy she talks to happens to be a Democrat. So he tells her he’s sorry, but trump’s tax breaks for his billionaire friends, along with his new regulations, makes it impossible for them to have any wiggle room for her. They could have made adjustments under Biden, but not under trump. Oh, sorry. And she gets evicted. It’s just possible as she is living out of her car that the tiniest micro-molecule of sense will burst in her brain and for 5 seconds she will wonder if this is because of trump? And then of course she will decide that’s not possible. But it was there for a few seconds.

I have made an effort to avoid old friends who now self-identify as maga. I mean to the extent possible. I'm retired from the field of mental health, and while I know these people do not have mental illness as individuals, they do suffer from something between mental health and illness. They are not well in that sense. I feel compassion for these people. The hostile ones that are 100% focused upon Amendment 2 issues, not so much.
