I am from a country this country derides, but meanwhile when we got here my older brother skipped 2 grades and I already spoke 2 languages at 4yrs old.
Education is irresponsibly poor here. I have gotten more education on my own reading books than in american schools.

I used to live next door to a wonderful Japanese family.
She said the rest of the world knows how bad the American schools are.
And she had to enroll her son in two additional schools, one before school and one after school
just so he could keep up with his Japanese counterparts when they returned to Japan.

A lot of immigrant parents probably feel that way. The only thing holding back is the english. My brother was taking university level classes in our home country, they actually called highschool classes university classes and he was 13 when we got here. They skipped him to 8th grade, probably because of his age. I on the other hand saw the kindergarten classroom and refused to leave, amazingly I was signed up 9 months early for school. So I then became the baby of my group of classmates forever..lol.

I still cant understand 10 million people who showed up to vote for Joe in 2020 not showing up in 2024 in effect saying there is no urgent reason to vote. Either the election was tampered with OR WORSE we really do have a stupid electorate which means there is NO REASON to think that even if we survive somehow that we will elect adults who are not criminals, WE WONT.

They would lose badly in Canada as they did long ago. And who in the army will do that if it ever did come to that. You don’t invade allies who have not attacked you, etc.
