The Supreme Court is going to help Trump delay everything until after the Inauguration...

...then he will be immune from sentencing. And he can make sure that no Report ever sees the light of day.

Thanks to the US Supreme Court.

It has been reported that Trump made a personal phone call to Samuel Alito on Tuesday. He wants his help. Alito lied and said it was some question about employment for a clerk or something to that effect. An obvious lie.

So, they will not have to rule on the matter at all. They will only need to delay it for 10 days and then there will be no sentencing by the state of New York. He will be immune.

But he will not be happy with that decision alone. He doesn't want the Special Counsel Report to be made public either. He wants them to delay that also.

If that indeed does happen, what options would Joe Biden have? Since the Executive Branch is in charge of the Justice Department, could he order his Attorney General to release the Reports immediately? After all, the Executive Branch is an independent Branch of Government from the Legislative and Judicial Branches and at the present time, the Reports are in the jurisdiction of the Executive Branch.

Release the Reports and tell the Supreme Court and the Republicans in Congress to go to hell.

If the majority of the Court agrees to hear the appeal, doesn't it happen?

That report should be released right away. If none of them will allow it, we are in even worse shape than I thought, and my outlook about this shit is already depressing.

Then they could just wait it out.

However, I hope you are right. Although it would be near meaningless, since we already know he is not getting any time, or community service, or punishment of any kind. He has already gotten off.

then the con is sentenced in the morning

And it's not meaningless. The con will be a convicted felon.

Does that mean they have "stayed" the decision. That would only mean they have agreed to delay it, the way I see it.

would not be unprecedented. Texas has done so on several occasions.

So yeah. Release the damn reports (or let them mysteriously 'leak').

Fuck the SC.
