4:30 am and there is still a line of people paying their respect

People have waited on line in the bitter cold in DC to pay their respect to President Carter. It's about 20 degrees with a wind chill of 11 and still people came.

Kamala Harris was very popular, but she didn't win.

WHY? What for? What ON EARTH is the appeal of trump? Especially compared to President Carter - whose opening line was “I will never lie to you”.

Somebody has to explain it to me, cuz I just DO NOT get it. I don’t trust him as far as I could throw Mar-a-Lago. No way in hell I could EVER be talked into voting for him. He’s as far opposite President Carter as it’s possible to imagine.

Both will go down in History for what they accomplished. Money has destroyed our Politics, along with sensational, money driven media.

"Money (and the insatiable greedy desire it creates)has destroyed everything, along with sensational, money driven media."

No need to nitpick. It has destroyed this country even as the few who horde almost all of it try desperately to convince us otherwise.

Like me who has lived through it Al, back to FDR, who I listened to on our fancy Crosley Radio. Fanciest piece of furniture in our house. My Dad got money when Grandpa sold the farm they owned. Bought our house and furniture. Farming community. No one went hungry.🥴

Truly moving. I hope Jimmy Carter knew how respected, admired and loved he was by so many Americans.
