In recent days, richest-man-in-the-world Elon Musk's strange ranting about the UK has dominated the British media - with his bizarre and dangerous unfounded accusations, calls for elections, misquoting of misinformation, doubling down, and targeting leaders of parties including PM Keir Starmer, Ed Davey, and Nigel Farage (who he deemed not the right man to lead the right). Much of this relates to Musk's fanatical support of anti-Islam activist Tommy Robinson, currently serving time in prison for repeated contempt of court.

The simple but powerful country song, written by Leonard Cohen in 1968 (on his 1969 album "Songs from a Room" ) has been covered by innumerable artists - and we listened to lots as we figured it out, landing on a favourite arrangement by k.d. lang in her powerful "Hymns of the 49th Parallel" in 2004. We probably should have sorted mics for everyone (esp Ella) to do full justice, but it's first week back at school, so it was a quick turnaround - and we're planning to return to cover the original properly for some upcoming performances.
